I visited the Days of 76 Museum June 16, 2018. Spent a couple of hours walking their exhibits and enjoyed all of it. Wild Bill may be Deadwood's most famous citizen but he certainly was not it's most vital. This museum gives a little different prospective from the stereotypical Deadwood mythology. The Days of 76 Museum has a plethora of turn of the century artifacts but the photos and descriptions paint a picture of a vibrant community that holds a lot of pride beyond Bill. If you are ever in Deadwood I would recommend a visit to the 76 museum in lieu of a couple of hands in the casino.

Very neat place to go. Rodeo fans should make this a stop. Wish I could have purchased a tee shirt or other rodeo item. Nice staff. Great wagons down stairs.

Definitely worth a stop in Deadwood! Sundays are not good days as they have no shows going on. We went to the museum and thoroughly enjoyed it. They have exhibits for kids and adults. Some are interactive which is fun for the kids!

Good museum, has some good items on display, some activities for kids. To be honest, however, it seemed mostly just a showboat of their local rodeo scene. 🤷♂️
