It is one of the best library in Albany as per my opinion. I love kid's zone in libarary, and there are lots of toys, books and people. I found lots of summer program lately. I like this place open by 8pm. I often visit here with my baby after having dinner. It offers 4weeks for children's books and help us finding books. You only need ID for member ship. just go.

We come with a group of special needs students who love this library. It is a life skill we teach them, how to take out their own books and to learn how to behave in such places. We have always had a lovely time in the children’s room and the librarians are wonderful... until we get up to the line to check out our books. Apparently it was a giant problem that we had a child still trying to find a book.. they are special needs so obviously they aren’t able to move as quick and can get stuck on certain things. Instead of being kind and patient the older woman at the check out was incredibly and unbelievably rude. I’ve never met such a rude person with no patience. Maybe she should retire if she is so miserable. Such a shame.
